We are currently looking for talented team players for the following open positions:

Opengate Regional Sales Engineers (RSEs) provide technical consultation and sales support for Opengate’s Data Center Solutions in a direct capacity to Opengate’s Director of Sales. This is a full time sales position with minimal direction.

RSEs require skills in Sales, Services, and Engineering, creating a strategic relationship with our customers to provide the most effective, most efficient application and integration of Opengate  solutions. RSEs will become intimately acquainted with the customer’s technical needs, systems, environment, and service history enabling a customized set of solutions to meet the customers’ targeted objectives.

Opengate RSE positions offer excellent compensation, benefits and growth opportunity. RSE positions require travel up to 75% to client sites within the assigned region. Candidates located in a major metropolitan area for expedited travel would be a plus.

Opengate RSE Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with key technical and decision makers within a customer’s organization; including data center managers, facility managers, engineers, project managers, management, executives, construction, financial, and purchasing personnel.
• Responsible to provide support for technical application of airflow management, data center cooling, energy analysis, system application alternatives, control/ management systems, installation, operation, maintenance, and problem resolution.
• Gain organization trust by demonstrating and constantly improving technical consultation and service.
• High level sales support activity through initiative, ingenuity, creativity and business relationships.
• Influence the integration of automated data center cooling and airflow systems.
• Comprehensive technical knowledge of Opengate systems and value as well as competitive solutions.
• Survey data center facilities, gain understanding of customer business practices, current needs for Opengate solutions.

The Director of Innovation & Technology provides direction, establishes and maintains the overall policies and goals for new product development, technology development and product quality.

Opengate positions offer excellent compensation, benefits and growth opportunity. This position requires up to 25% travel to client sites and technical conferences.

Opengate Director of Innovation & Technology Responsibilities

• Direct engineering resources to industrialize technology and solutions
• Define and execute on required feasibility studies for new projects
• Manage projects from concept through testing and quality volume phases
• Ownership of Opengate quality process with monthly reports to Opengate’s CEO and Sales
• Direct the development of custom software for SiteView and Unity Cooling solutions
• Strategic direction for Opengate’s technology and product roadmap
• Define and execute DVT, component qualification and user acceptance testing
• Define and execute life testing programs
• Represent Opengate at technical conferences

This position requires the ability to direct teams to generate complex electronic design/design control systems. This position requires concept design skills and the ability to communicate ideas using sketches, schematic diagrams and quick prototypes. Position also requires strong manufacturing implementation and validation testing skills and knowledge of EN60950 design and testing standards.

BSEE  and 15 years minimum design experience required.
