Orange, CA - October 5, 2009 - Data Aire, Inc. becomes a Unity Cooling Partner with Opengate Data Systems. As a Unity Cooling Partner Data Aire will offer Opengate’s rack mounted cooling systems and components through Data Aire’s international representative network. Opengate’s cooling system is a flexible, scalable and economical method of hot air containment in the data center. The system mounts directly to the top of most racks. Two variable speed fans, controlled by internal rack pressure, draw the server exhaust air out of the rack and directly back to the Data Aire computer room air conditioner for effective hot air containment. This allows for effective cooling for rack heat loads approaching 30 kW. Fans are available in two sizes and can be interchanged in case the heat load in the rack increases. Fan systems can be put on as few as one rack or every rack in the data center for total containment.
