The NER presentation will focus on Infrastructure Optimization Solutions and the importance of using key processes to help achieve significant energy savings and sustainability. Ron will discuss the key industry and technology drivers associated with energy consumption and the constraints associated with today’s high-density data center applications. You will lean the importance of MBI - Management by Information and the use of Best Practices to identify inefficiencies, remediation constraints, reduce energy consumption and reclaim wasted capacity. Ron will discuss the importance of using metrics and modeling to measure and gauge efficiency improvements and the innovative tools available today to maintain and sustain an efficient data center infrastructure.
Ron Tessing
Ron Tessing has been a Senior Field Sales Engineer for NER Data Products for the past six years, supporting 5 Regional Sales Managers and hundreds of end users. Ron specializes in Infrastructure optimization and has specific expertise in airflow efficiency, BMS, monitoring, and power distribution. He has participated in consulting, design, and solution implementation for clients with data centers totaling over 1.5 million square feet. Ron frequently speaks at Afcom chapter meetings throughout the US and he currently resides in the Denver, CO area. Ron attended Rutgers University with specific studies in the physical sciences.
