Opengate, speaker and exhibitor at WCIT

May 18th, 2008

Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Many call this the Olympics of IT. The World Congress of Information Technology (WCIT) is held every two years. This year’s event turned out over 3300 delegates. Many interested delegates were excited to learn how to achieve unity cooling with Opengate’s redundant hot-air containment technology. WCIT is the flagship event of the World Information Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA), a consortium of 73 international IT organizations whose members comprise more than 90% of the global IT market. This is the 16th conference with the next conference to be held in Taiwan. WCIT’s theme this year was “The Global Impact of Information and Communications Technology: Enable Businesses, Empower Societies, Enrich Economies”. See you in Amsterdam at the next WCIT!

The WITSA chairman noted that at WCIT 2008, there are:

  • More than 70 institutional partners;
  • More than 90 participating countries;
  • More than 100 speakers;
  • More than 3000 delegates;
  • More than 2000 business-to-business meetings;
